Jessie Linden is an NYC-based drummer and percussionist originally from Cleveland, OH.

After growing up in community theater and receiving an education at Ithaca College, Jessie began her career as a Broadway musician. She has subbed on a dozen shows, including favorites such as Come From Away, Death Becomes Her, Back To The Future, Some Like It Hot, Beetlejuice, and Aladdin.

Beginning in November 2025, Jessie will be the percussionist for the Broadway production Two Strangers (Carry A Cake Across New York) at the Longacre Theatre.

She has also performed in a wide variety of Off-Broadway productions, concerts and workshops. She has played in many notable NYC venues, such as David Geffen Hall, Town Hall, Ars Nova, 54 Below, Symphony Space, and Joe’s Pub. Some favorites include Manhattan Concert Productions’ The Secret Garden, The Team’s Anything That Gives Off Light with music by The Bengsons, and Andrew R. Butler’s Rags Parkland Sings the Songs of the Future. The original cast recording is available here.

Most recently, Jessie played the North American premiere production of Ceilidh (KAY-lee), an immersive Scottish musical by Scott Gilmour and Claire Mackenzie, and toured the country with Labyrinth in Concert (Black Ink Presents).

She also writes and performs original music with UK-based composer Matthew Harvey and can be heard on his debut record Whatever Happens Next.

Jessie currently resides in Astoria, NY with her husband, music director Andy Collopy, and her dog/kangaroo/deer/alien Rosie.
